my story
Born in the south side of Florida, raised by my roommates; mom and dad with 3 other annoying roommates sisters and brother. Here, (Miami) is were I grew up loving Art! My father a jeweler designer at trait but a painter at heart, showed me my first love for art. We indulged in art books from impressionism to contemporary art. My all time favorite artist was Salvador Dali, his story telling and tricker to the audience was very fascinating. Growing older I was in aww with the American Illustration such as Norman Rockwell, J.C Leyendecker, N.C Wyeth, Dean Cornwell to name a few. Here you will find my passion as a contemporary artist and a children’s book artist in a concentration with History. History has always intrigued me, from my fathers stories to reading books. My Roots
My background started with my parents. Born in Bogota, Colombia (father and Mother) is where my parents story started. Here is where love began and the future started for them. They flew to NY and there adventure began with my brother. My brother (oldest sibling) born in 1975 with love. Then my parents moved down to Miami, where the rest of the gang where born and my story started in 1982. Born in the 80s was amazing, life was simple as a kid no worries. Cell phones were non existing for everyone and playing outside was the thing to do! My passion for art was growing everyday, riding bike to the comic shop with friends and reading comics was awesome!
